This new-build house in Westminster called for detailed knowledge of local and national planning policy, given its context in between two Grade II Listed Buildings. The planning process was expertly navigated by Gresford Architects Ltd, and developed by James through detailed design, tender and construction.

Technical design covered waterproofing of the expansive basement living space and fully considered details for complex glazing geometries, which enhance vaulted ceiling and double-height spaces throughout the development.

High specification materials in the form of Portland stone, copper and marble cladding were successfully integrated into the development through research and open communication between the main contractor, architect and specialist sub-contractors and suppliers.
